Board Court

Eligibility

Clients from Weber or Morgan County

Eligible Client is:

  1. on parole
  2. criminal activity is directly related to their SA problem
  3. shown progress in prior SA program.

Participation is voluntary

Non-Eligible Parolees have:

  1. a history of violent and/or sexual offenses
  2. new charges pending
  3. associations with other parolees
  4. suffer from chronic, serious, or persistent mental illness
  5. failed in prior SA treatments

Cost

All costs including medication management, prescriptions, lab fees, and residential services are paid by the state contract.

Eligibility

Clients from Weber or Morgan County

Client is:

  1. minimum security inmate with a minimum of 12 months but no more than 18 months to parole/release
  2. whose criminal activity is directly related to their SA problem.

Participation is voluntary 

Inmates with a history of violent and/or sexual offenses, who suffer from chronic, serious or persistent mental illness or have failed in prior SA treatment are not eligible.

Emergency Services:

Agency hours are 8:00 a.m. -  5:00 p.m.  Walk-ins after that can call 625-3700 24-hours a day. 

In the event of a medical emergency, clients are encouraged to go directly to McKay-Dee Emergency Department.  Licensed professionals provide 24-hour emergency services with consultation available from a psychiatrist. Emergency services can be obtained by calling (801) 625-3700.

Weber Human Services and McKay Dee Hospital determine conjointly the need for psychiatric hospitalization.
