Weber Human Services (WHS), located in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population residing in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are an organization dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. WHS was organized by a cooperative agreement between the Weber and Morgan county governments to serve as the local authority for the provision of their substance abuse, mental health and senior service programs.

It is the only organization in the State of Utah providing these services under a single administration. Through dozens of human services programs, WHS helps thousands of its neighbors by supporting and empowering our most vulnerable groups including at-risk youth, the elderly, children, youth and adults suffering from mental illnesses, and those recovering from addictions.

Mission Statement
It is the mission of Weber Human Services to provide high quality, accessible, cost effective human services to the residents of Weber and Morgan Counties.

Implementation Strategies In order to fulfill this mission:

1. We will hire and develop knowledgeable, motivated employees and encourage innovation.
2. We will operate an efficient, responsible agency.
3. Our workforce will strive to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve and promote cultural awareness.
4. We will involve residents in government by encouraging them to be our partners in the community.
5. We will utilize community partnerships and specialties of other organizations to enhance services and eliminate duplication.
6. We will provide education and support activities that promote quality and longevity of life for individuals and their families.
