 - B.R.I.D.G.E.S. (Building Recovery of Individual Dreams and Goals through Education and Support) is a 10-week course for consumers of mental health services and those interested in establishing and maintaining their wellness and recovery. BRIDGES classes will start Thursday, September 16th, 2010 from 7-9 pm and will be held at Weber Human Services, 237 26th Street, Ogden, UT 84401 in Room #245. - Basics is a 6-week course that covers the fundamentals of caring for you, your family and your young child/teenager with mental illness. Topics include: biology of mental illness, getting an accurate diagnosis, treatment options, communication skills, problem-solving, crisis preparation and response, handling challenging behavior, and record-keeping. Basics classes will start Wednesday, September 15th, 2010 from 7-9 PM and will be held at Weber Human Services, 237 26th Street, Ogden, UT 84401 in Room #232. - Connections Support Group is offered for people who have mental illness (ages 14 years and older). The support group meets every Monday (except holidays) at 6:30 PM and is held at Weber Human Services, 237 26th Street, Ogden, UT 84401. Meet in Room E102. - Family-To-Family Support Group is offered for family members (ages 14 years and older) of people who have mental illness. It offers support from those who understand. The support group meets every Monday (except holidays) at 6:30 PM and is held at Weber Human Services, 237 26th Street, Ogden, UT 84401 in Room E102. The group facilitator is Gary Empey.
